Becker Stahl not affected by current weather conditions

Bönen, July 16, 2021 // Due to the current uncertainty in the market after the severe storms in the region, Becker Stahl-Service GmbH clarifies below:

The recent heavy rains and flooding which took place in our region had no effect on our production and logistics. This is thanks to our emergency plan which has been immediately triggered in the afternoon of Wednesday, the 14th of July. Becker Stahl updates regularly its emergency plan in order to implement appropriate measures in such cases. 

We at Becker Stahl, take production and delivery disruptions risks very seriously, and we regularly review and improve our possible reaction to potential threat.

Deliveries to our customers are taking place as planned, and we are at disposal to give support in case of urgent needs to compensate the current terrible situation in which some other steel service centers are.

Our thoughts are with the victims of this tragedy and we hope for a quick improvement of the situation.
